SDA IMPORTANT DATES & STUDIO PROCEDURES
IMPORTANT DATES for FALL & SPRING SEMESTERS:
FALL:
Winter Show: The Nutcracker December 14th at Sedona Performing Arts Center
School is closed on these dates:
. Labor Day - September 2nd,
. Fall Break - October 14-18th,
. Thanksgiving – Thursday 28 & Friday 9th.
. Winter Break - December 16th- January 5th.
SPRING:
Spring Show: May 24th, location TBA
School is closed on these dates:
. Presidents Day February 17th,
. Spring Break March 17-22nd,
. Summer break May 26-30th.
Summer camps 2025 – June 2nd – 20th. Camp details is still in the works!
STUDIO PROCEDURES:
MAKE UP MISSED CLASSES: Students can make up classes within a month of
the missed date(s). Email us to confirm appropriate makeup class.
TUITION:
Tuition fees will be posted on the 1st of each month during the regular dance
season (August-May). A parent can initiate payment or allow AUTO-PAYMENT
which will be processed at the 5th day of the month.
PLEASE NOTE: Tuition is based on the season regardless of how many weeks are
in a given month. Semesters average out to four weeks each month. Fall and
Spring tuition is based on full months for August - May.
*No month is prorated.
Summer Camps will be posted according to the schedule indicated separately.
ESA/Classwallet Program: Students using the ESA/Classwallet program need to
email us as soon as possible or at class enrollment. The program's payment rules
have changed for the 24/25 school year.

REGISTRATION FEE:
A semester registration fee of $25 (per family) will be posted during both Fall and
Spring enrollment. Payment of the fee is required at enrollment to secure a spot in
class(es).

PERFORMANCE FEE:
A performance fee of $40 (per family) will be posted in November for the Winter
Performance and $40 in March for the Spring Showcase. There will be no
complimentary tickets issued, all tickets will need to be purchased except for
parent volunteers or performers.
Tumbling classes are not in performance.

COSTUME FEE:
Costumes are required for the Winter/Nutcracker Performance and the Spring
Showcase. The cost of these costumes differs by class and number of dances. A
statement will be emailed to you for the costume charges. They will be posted in
October (Winter) and March (Spring).

EXCEPTION:
A Performance and Costume Fee will not be applied to students that are not in the
performances.

WITHDRAW/DROP CLASS:
Withdrawal from a class before the completion
of the year requires a 30 day written withdrawal notice emailed
to jessica@sedonadanceacademy.org
The parent/guardian will be responsible for tuition until your notice is sent and
acknowledged through an email. Tuition is not prorated per month. Your dancer
will be able to come to class for all classes paid for, and if they do not attend you
are still accountable for the total cost of the monthly tuition.
